Simple Ways To Find Self-Reflective Essay Examples

“Huh?” you may be asking. “What’s a self-reflective essay then?”

Well, I can tell you! This type of essay requires you to describe a personal experience in your life from which you grew and changed as a result. It should be written in the first person and you’ll need to provide plenty of descriptions. So when it comes to choosing your topic, it’s a very personal choice. However, you should most certainly look at other examples of these types of essays so that you know exactly how to tackle your own. If you don’t know where to find these, then here’s how:

Don’t overlook the obvious.

Maybe you’ve forgotten that your teacher gave you a handout detailing where to find samples for your self-reflective essay, or that you wrote it down in the back of your workbook. Sometimes obvious answers are under our noses!

Why not try the web?

Looking online is probably the first port of call for most people these days. Using a search engine, you will easily locate an array of samples; although with so many unreliable websites and services littered throughout the web, you’ll need to make sure that you’re studying the right examples.

It might be worth looking around on social network sites to see if someone’s posted a good list of reputable platforms to use.

Don’t forget about libraries!

The library is a student’s best friend! You will be able to find a multitude of student papers in your campus library.

You may be after more professional samples. If this is the case, your library will still be able to assist you. Have a look through books, academic journals and periodicals and you should come across what you’re after.

You might even venture further afield to your public libraries to get hold of an example that’s the perfect thing you require.

Friends are there to help.

You could always ask your fellow class friends. Sometimes it’s a great idea to share resources. You could even form a study group if you think it would help this particular project. Don’t be afraid to discuss ideas and ask for help. Some of your friends might know of the exact resource you need!

Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance!

If you are still struggling to find that sample, then don’t be afraid to ask for help elsewhere. Librarians will always be there to assist you, and failing that- know that you can simply ask your teacher. They might have that perfect suggestion for you!
