What are other states doing?

Under construction.

So you want to pass legislation in your state?

The rules and deadlines in each state for proposing and filing legislation are different. Some states allow citizens to request legislative initiatives, while others require that all initiatives come from the office of a legislator (a State Representative, Senator, or Delegate.) Some states have a new legislative session every year, while others have a new session every two years. The specific formatting and language requirements for bills may differ from state to state.

More information on specific states will be provided here as the site is further developed.
